Swindon light-heavyweight Kelvin Young will take on Sam Couzens in a Southern Area title eliminator in November.
Young’s manager Keith Mayo told Your Sport Swindon the fight will take place on Neilson Boxing’s Oasis Show on November 26th.
The fight will complete the trilogy of fights between the pair which currently stands at one win apiece.
It also ends speculation about Young taking on fellow Swindon-based light-heavyweight rival Sam Smith, after the pair were in talks to meet earlier this month.
Talking to Your Sport Swindon, Mayo said: “It’s finally on and this will be a great fight for Swindon.
“It’s the third fight between Kelvin and Sam and I know they are both going to give it their all.
“The board have now confirmed it will be a Southern Area title eliminator, which adds extra spice, and gives both boxers the chance to go for that title.
“This is a fight Kelvin and Sam have wanted for a long time now and it is sure to be one hell of a fight.
“In terms of the Sam Smith fight that has been put to bed now, it is not on our radar right now but we’re not ruling it out in the future.”
Young will take on Couzens on the undercard of Neilson Boxing’s “Talk Is Cheap” show which will see Paddy Fitzpatrick boxers Sam Smith headline and Luke Watkins act as chief support.
