Here’s your chance to play a frame of snooker with 1997 World Snooker Champion Ken Doherty.
Your Sport Swindon have teamed up with the 147 Snooker Club to offer one lucky person the chance to play Doherty at an exhibition night on Saturday, July 18th.
The winner will also win two standard tickets to the event which will be held at Swindon’s 147 Snooker Club.
To enter, simply watch the video above with Doherty and answer his easy question by leaving the answer in the comments section below or on our Facebook page www.facebook.com/yoursportswindon
You must be available to attend the event on Saturday, July 18th and the closing date for entries is 5pm on Sunday, July 12th.
The winner will be chosen at random from all the correct entries and will be announced next week on the Your Sport Swindon website.
Tickets are still available for the event which will see Doherty entertain the crowd at the 147 Snooker Club by taking on a selected group of local players.
As well as playing a number of players during the night, Doherty will be joined by one of snooker’s favourite characters John Virgo, who will be performing trick shots and telling some jokes.
Both Doherty and Virgo will be on hand to talk to the audience, sign autographs and for photos.
The event is raising money for Ronald McDonald House in Bristol and the Nepal Earthquake Appeal.
147 Snooker Club owner Noel Paul is delighted to welcome Doherty back to the club after a previous visit back in 2010, saying: “I feel very excited about Ken coming down to the club.
“I have known him for a few years now and I think he’s one of the nicest people you can meet on the snooker circuit.
“He really entertains the crowd well and has time for everyone.
“Having a former world champion at the club is a real honour for us and can only be good for us and the sport in Swindon.”
Tickets to the charity exhibition are £20 for standard and £35 for VIP. A VIP ticket will get you a front row seat and early entry for a meet and greet with the pair before the event starts.
Standard ticket holders are standing only.
VIP doors open at 7pm, standard from 7:30pm while the exhibition itself starts at 7:45pm.
