Walcot boxers Orgest Peroshi and Said Eltuyev compete in the Western Counties Final of the CYP Championships in Bristol today.
Peroshi looks to celebrate his 18th birthday a week early with success over Downend’s Charlie Ricketts in the Class C, Under 69kgs division.
The Wroughton-based Albanian beat Corey Kelly of the Broad Plain Boys’ Club in the previous round after some vicious body shots led to a second round stoppage.
Seventeen-year-old Eltuyev meets Gary Bunt of Bodmin ABC in Cornwall in the Class C, Under 64kgs section.
The final is staged at the Broad Plain Boys’ Club in Bristol, with the action starting at 1pm.
