Two late goals at Royal Wootton Bassett Town sparked ecstatic celebrations as the home side grabbed victory from the jaws of defeat against Brimscombe & Thrupp.

Having led the Hellenic League Premier Division clash since the 11th minute courtesy of Ben Deakin’s effort, Brimscombe & Thrupp looked set to claim all three points.

But Bassett had other ideas and with just a few minutes remaining on the clock staged an unlikely and amazing comeback.

First Joe Hiscock looped home a header with just minutes remaining and then with seconds left on the clock, Dan Bailey stabbed home the winner.
