Watch highlights from Swindon Supermarine’s 1-0 defeat at home to Poole Town in Southern Premier South.
Corby Moore’s 76th-minute strike ultimately proved the difference at the Webb’s Wood Stadium but it was Supermarine who might the brighter start to this match.
The first-half ended goalless but Conor McDonagh, Stuart Fleetwood and new signing Simon Downer all went agonisingly close to giving Marine the lead at the break.
Poole pushed on in the second half and got their breakthrough on 76 minutes when Moore struck from 22 yards out.
Supermarine pushed for an equaliser with a Jamie Edge free-kick and a Kane Simpson shot going close but Poole held on for all three points.
Marine return to action next Saturday when they travel to either Thame Rangers or Wantage Town in the FA Cup.
