Referee James Durkin awarded two penalties during the match between Swindon Supermarine and Evesham but did he get them right?

Supermarine were awarded the first spot kick when George Ward was judged to have been fouled in the box.

Then in the second half, visitors Evesham were given a penalty when Supermarine’s Jon Beeden was adjudged to have made a foul in the box.

Swindon Supermarine slipped to their first home defeat of the season against Division One South & West play-off rivals Evesham United.

Liam Harding gave Evesham the lead on six minutes thanks to his superb header which picked out the top corner of the Supermarine net.

Brad Hooper then brought the hosts level when he slotted home a penalty after George Reid was fouled in the box on 24 minutes.

Liam Smith then struck for the visitors on 55 minutes, scoring from the spot after he had been brought down in the box by Marine’s Jon Beeden.

Evesham rounded off the win on 90 minutes when Elliott Kennedy poked the ball home after a good cross from the left.
