Watch extended highlights from Swindon St George v Cardiff Blue Dragons at the weekend in the Southern Conference.
Neil Loader’s men suffered a 48-20 defeat after in-discipline and a host of injuries cost them dear.
Cardiff Blues crossed the line early doors before Swindon hit back to take a 10-4 lead courtesy of tries from Simon Addis and Richard White.
The visitors though soon levelled and regained the lead 16-10 shortly before St George skipper Rhys Evans was sin-binned.
With the luxury of the extra man advantage, Cardiff extended their lead to 10-20 before Addis grabbed his second try of the game just prior to the break.
After half-time, Stu Doughty was sin-binned and again Cardiff took full advantage as they extended their advantage to 26-16.
Addis then scored his hat-trick shortly after a length injury delay to close the gap to just six points.
Cardiff though scored again, coupled by a red card to St George’s White saw the visitors canter to victory.
The Dragons added a further three tries as they ran out 48-20 winners.
