
Swindon Rugby Club bounced back to winning ways in emphatic style on Saturday as they beat Maidenhead 47-23.

Swindon came into the match on the back of two straight defeats in South West 1 East and got off to the worst possible start at home to Maidenhead as the visitors scored in the opening few minutes.
Two quick tries gave Swindon a 14-7 lead although Maidenhead soon reduced the deficit to just one point courtesy of two penalties.
Swindon though were not about to concede their lead and added two fine tries before the break.
The home side extended their lead to 33-13 before Maidenhead hit back with an unconverted score.
Both sides traded tries again before Swindon signed off with one final score as Sean Lynn’s men returned to winning ways.
The victory lifts Swindon up to eighth place in the division ahead of their last fixture this year away at Newbury Blues next Saturday.
