After the 4-1 defeat against Chippenham last week, Swindon Ladies 2nds faced another tough opponent in Wessex Division One against Team Bath Buccs.
Visiting Bath started the stronger of the two sides, pinning Swindon in their own circle for much of the first half.
But despite the overwhelming pressure, Swindon’s defence held firm with young goalkeeper Mollie Selwood pulling off a string of fine saves.
After a goalless first half, Swindon grew in strength after the break and got the breakthrough when Daisy Mussard reacted quickest to score from a short corner.
With just 20 minutes remaining, Swindon battled hard to cling onto all three points and despite all their efforts, Bath stole a point from a late short corner.
