Swindon Hockey Club’s women powered past City of Bath, winning 4-0 in Premier Division 2A.

Rachel King opened the scoring for Swindon when she smashed home from close range on 15 minutes.

Victoria Stokes doubled Swindon’s lead when she came off the bench to power the ball into the corner of the net.

King then added her second goal of the game courtesy of a Gemma Scrase cross.

Swindon then controlled the second half with debutant Emma Brown narrowly missing a chance to score before Lynsey Wall grabbed her side’s fourth goal from a Gael Little cross.

Player of the match was handed to Linda Brouwers.
