The Green and Whites remained unbeaten as they eventually beat Grove Challengers 1-0 in the final.

Liden started their tournament in style as Sam Morse grabbed both goals in a 2-0 win.

Matt Bibby and Mike Gilder were on target in the next match as Quedgeley Wanderers were also beaten 2-0.

After a goalless draw against Castle Combe, Liden bounced back with a 3-1 victory against hosts Malmesbury courtesy of goals from Morse, Bibby and Gilder.

Having already qualified for the knockout stages of the tournament, Liden romped to victory in their final group game as they saw off Devizes 3-0 thanks to a double strike from Bibby and one from Morse.

Liden faced Derry Hill in the quarter finals but thanks to superb performances from Keiron Mutlow, Oscar Richardson, Ajay Kharaud, Morse and Bibby they triumphed 3-0.

The prolific Bibby was once again on form as he notched all three goals against Derry Hill.

Ashton Keynes took on Liden in the semi finals and managed to put up a fine defensive performance.

In the end it was a well-taken effort from Morse which proved the difference as he booked Liden’s place in the final.

Grove Challengers were Liden’s opponents in the final and, after a tight affair, Bibby clinched victory for the Swindon side as he held his nerve to slot home a late penalty.

That goal was Bibby’s eighth of the tournament but it was Kharaud’s fine work in defence which saw him crowned Liden’s player of the tournament.
