Swindon Supermarine striker Kane Simpson hopes to continue his rich scoring form and fire his new club to success this season.
Simpson has hit two goals in as many games in pre-season and hopes it is a sign of things to come.
“It’s always nice to get your first goal and hopefully I’ll get a lot more in this kit,” said Simpson.
“I just feel that this is the kind of club that has everything I need to progress as a footballer and push the team on as well.
“Competition is healthy, it just pushes everyone else to do better, hopefully if I keep scoring like I have been then I can’t see why I won’t be playing.”
Supermarine dominated the first half at Longlevens and took a 3-0 lead into the break courtesy of goals from Calvin Dinsley, Kane Simpson and an own goal.
Longlevens hit back with two goals in the second half but Harry Williams secured victory for visiting Marine, with a goal on 90 minutes.
