Watch all the goals from Shrivenham’s 5-1 win against local rivals Fairford Town in the Hellenic League Premier Division.
New Shrivenham signing Jack Allan made an explosive debut as he hit all five goals to bring Fairford’s 100 per cent league record crashing down.
Allan scored two quick goals as Shrivenham made a fast start to lead 2-0 after just 10 minutes. Fairford hit back on 33 minutes when Callum Preece fired home in clinical fashion.
Ten minutes into the second half and Shrivenham were 3-1 up, Allan again the man doing the damage.
And Allan scored his fourth on 65 minutes to effectively wrap up the three points for the home side.
Dave Bampton was sent off two minutes later for a rash challenge before Allan rounded off the scoring with his fifth on 80 minutes.
The victory was Shrivenham’s second of the season having beaten another of their local rivals, Royal Wootton Bassett, earlier in the season.
