Watch this amazing free kick from Shield & Dagger’s Jonny Coole against Tawny Owl in the Swindon & District League Premier Division.

This Shield & Dagger player drilled the ball into the top corner of the Tawny Owl net to give his side the lead against the league leaders.

 

 

Despite Shield & Dagger taking the lead from Coole’s free-kick, Tawny Owl eventually cruised to a 5-2 victory with goals from Jamie Sheppard, Dave Slattery (2), Kenny Hawkins and Paddy Slattery. Dave Toomey scored Dagger’s other goal.

Tawny Owl star AJ Sahota was delighted with the win especially as his side only had 11 players to choose from.

He said: “We were down to the bare bones because our joint manager Gio De Sando let us down at the last minute with a mystery illness.

“That left us with just 11 players and no subs so it was an even greater feeling to win in the circumstances.”
