Morgan, who came into this fight as an underdog, produced a classy display of boxing against her Hungarian rival who had twice fought for a world title.
But it was the Swindon boxer who dominated proceedings boxing superbly behind her jab, on the counter and inside.
Morgan hurt her rival several times with some huge right hands but Szabados proved her metal by holding on to hear the final bell.
In the end Morgan was awarded a 59-55 points victory, a result which brought the curtain down to a hugely successful first year as a professional for the Swindon boxer.
With three wins now under her belt, Morgan will now look to step up a level and focus her attentions on a European and World title shot.
Elsewhere on the card at Grange Leisure Centre, Luke Watkins produced a convincing display as he dispatched Sandor Balogh inside two rounds.
Stablemate Garvey Kelly however had an off night as he suffered a points defeat against Lee Connelly.
Fellow Paddy Fitzpatrick trained boxer Sam Smith made a successful debut as he beat Mark Till 39-37 on points.
Chippenham boxer Ben Heap also made his debut but lost a points decision against Viktors Drizlionoks while Gloucester’s Akeem ‘Riiddy’ Ennis Brown beat Fonz Alexander 40-36 on points.
