It didn’t last long, but Joe Hughes celebrated a 13th career win on Saturday after his opponent retired injured at the end of the first round.
Fighting on the undercard to the Lights Out bill at Swindon’s Oasis Leisure Centre, Hughes dominated the first round while his opponent Tomas Bartunek suffered a cut to the eye.
The cut eventually forced Bartunek to retire giving Hughes victory and after an easy night’s work.
