Watch highlights from Shrivenham’s dramatic FA Cup victory at Holmer Green on Tuesday night.
Shrivenham eventually required penalties to secure their place in the FA Cup Preliminary Round against Holmer Green, winning the shootout 5-4.
Having been pegged back late on at the weekend as Holmer Green forced a replay thanks to their 88th-minute equaliser, it was Shrivenham’s turn to strike at the death with Tom Ballard scoring with just minutes remaining.
With no further goals coming in extra-time both sides had to chance the lottery of the shootout and it proved to be Shrivvy’s night as Sam Ockwell, Tom Ballard, Nathan Blackford, Nick Stanley and Jamie Prictor all scored.
Shrivenham now face Chalfont St Peter in the next round on Saturday, August 24th.
