As well as reflecting on the win, the pair also reveal their footballing aspirations and what it’s like to play an American football team.

The match was played as part of the American side’s trip to England as they look to impress their coaches in an attempt to make the Olympic Development Squad.

The home side were 2-0 up at half-time through goals from Izzie Cook and Chloe Neate.

Maryland drew level in the second-half with Megan Stoudt and Mia Cudmore getting the goals.

It wasn’t enough for the visitors as Lani Dickinson, Flo Ashton and Cook ensured it was Swindon’s first win against American opposition in five years.
