Swindon Shock Women suffered a 54-66 defeat against Bristol Dynamo in a trophy match.
Both teams started strongly, with Shock managing to overturn a five-point handicap to finish the first quarter tied with the visitors on 19 points.
Dynamo overpowered the home side through the second and third quarters, leaving Shock trailing 40-54 before the final quarter.
Putting on a full court press and aggressive D, the Swindon side ensured the final quarter was the lowest scoring of the match but their efforts weren’t enough to avoid defeat.
Shock’s Emma Frost scored 24 points and was nominated MVP by Dymano.
