Royal Wootton Bassett Town boss Sam Collier struggled to find any positives from his side’s 6-1 defeat against Westfields and admitted he may ring the changes ahead of Saturday’s clash against Reading City.
Collier’s troops found themselves 2-0 down inside the first 10 minutes against Westfield and the Bassett boss admitted it left them a mountain to climb.
“When you are playing the team who are expected to win the league and you are 2-0 down after seven minutes it’s extremely tough and there is only ever one outcome I feel,” said Collier.
“I thought we gifted them four of the goals. I’m massively disappointed.
“We certainly need to bring in some people. We certainly need a refresh.”
Braces from Aidan Thomas and Richard Greaves along with singles from Craig Jones and Keanu Cooper gave Westfields victory.
Alfie Presley scored Bassett’s consolation goal.
