
Swindon Town Ladies grabbed their second successive win of the new season thanks to a 3-2 win at St Nicholas on Sunday.
Having thrashed Southampton Saints 5-1 on the opening day, Town Ladies started where they left off with Abby Picton giving them an early lead.
St Nicholas however struck back to equalise immediately and send both teams into the break on level terms.
The home side then took the lead early in the second half, leaving Town Ladies chasing the game.
Beth Westlake hauled Swindon Town Ladies level as the visitors look to have grabbed a point.
But things got even better for Town with just 15 minutes remaining when substitute Sarah Uzzell scored the winner with her first touch.
Swindon Town Ladies take a break from Women’s Premier League Division One South West action next weekend with a trip to local rivals Swindon Spitfires in the cup.
Spitfires meanwhile suffered a 2-0 home defeat against Maidenhead on Sunday.
