Town Ladies star Hurst is up for the cup

Swindon Town Ladies star Alex Hurst talks to Your Sport Swindon ahead of Sunday’s Women’s FA Cup clash against Tottenham.

The FA Cup second round clash was due to take place last Sunday but fell foul of the recent wet weather.

Both sides will now have their fingers-crossed that the tie can survive the elements this weekend.

Northern Ireland international Hurst, who signed for Town Ladies in the summer from Bristol Academy, was disappointed the clash against Spurs was postponed at the first attempt.

Nevertheless though Hurst says she remains confident that Swindon Town Ladies will give Premier Division South side Tottenham a run for their money.

Sunday’s match takes place at Shrivenham Football Club, kick-off 2pm, and spectators are welcome to attend.
