Swindon Shock thumped Reading Rockets II 117-76 at the weekend to clinch their third straight win in EBL National Division 4.
Despite another shaky start by Swindon Shock, they bounced back to grab a commanding lead of 30-16 after the first quarter.
After some defensive adjustments in the break Swindon managed to control proceedings as they extended their lead, winning the second quarter 28-21.
Reading came out firing in a free-scoring third quarter but with Shock managing to trade baskets with their rivals, Rockets only managed to reduce the deficit by two points.
Leading by 19 points going into the final quarter, Swindon took control as Reading finally lost momentum and tired, to win the session 30-8.
Swindon Shock will be busy next weekend as they travel to Thames Valley on Saturday in a rescheduled match and then make the trip to derby rivals Oxford Steelers on Sunday.
Victory in both matches could guarantee Swindon a play-off place.
