Swindon Town Ladies “itching” to get at Spurs

Swindon Town Ladies boss Steve Robertson talks to Your Sport Swindon ahead of his side’s FA Cup second round tie with Tottenham Hotspur.

After this fixture was postponed last weekend because of the weather, Robertson admits his team are “itching” to take on Women’s Premier League Division South side Spurs.

Although Robertson also admitted both he and his players were frustrated at last week’s postponement he also suggested it could be a blessing in disguise with his team now having had more time to prepare for Tottenham.

Sunday’s tie kicks off at 2pm at Shrivenham Football Club with spectators welcome.
