Swindon Town Ladies boss Steve Robertson praised his side’s performance despite falling to a dramatic late defeat against Crystal Palace.

Palace’s Ellie Bailes grabbed a controversial winner five minutes into added time and while Robertson slammed the referee in charge he was happy with Swindon Town’s overall performance.

Robertson asked his side to respond to the 4-0 midweek defeat against Cardiff and he felt he got that reaction against Palace.

The Swindon Town Ladies boss said his side must now repeat that performance week in week out, starting against fellow strugglers Queens Park Rangers next Sunday.
