
Swindon Town’s Under 18 girls maintained their 100 per cent record at the Gothia Cup with a 3-0 win against Brazilian side BRFC today.
Leading Group One after two matches, Swindon Town knew that just a draw against the Brazilians would see them top the table.
Swindon Town’s girls went into the match against BRFC in confident mood having won their opening two matches – their last an amazing 7-0 win against FC Lyn.
And after a goalless first half, a quick-fire double from Karolayne Byrom on the half hour mark put the Town girls in the driving seat.
Jordan O’Donoghue then clinched victory on 44 minutes as Town wrapped up a comfortable third straight win to top Group One.
