Swindon Supermarine boss eyes sweet revenge against Evesham

Swindon Supermarine boss Dave Webb has called for a big performance at home to Evesham on Saturday as he looks for a bit revenge from last season.

Evesham won 2-0 at the Webbswood last season with Webb conceding their rivals “did a job” on his team, a result that still hurts the Supermarine boss.

Webb will remind his players of last season’s defeat to Evesham prior to Saturday’s clash and knows they will have to be at the top of their game to claim all three points.

And victory is all the more important for Swindon Supermarine with them sitting in fourth place in Division One West, two points ahead of Evesham but with a game in hand.

The Swindon Supermarine boss was also delighted with his side’s 8-0 midweek win against Malmesbury Vics in the Wiltshire Senior Cup.

Several fringe players impressed Webb on the night including Lewis Thompson who scored four goals.

Webb was pleased with the performance against Malmesbury and will be looking for more of the same this weekend.

Ryan Morgan misses Saturday’s match as he starts a three-match suspension.

Meanwhile, Swindon Supermarine will host Chippenham Town in the next round of the Wiltshire Senior Cup.
