Swindon Ladies are in seventh heaven after winning the Premier League 2A title thanks to a 7-0 win at City of Bath.
Chloe Lewis gave Swindon the perfect start to the match, following up her own penalty corner strike to slot home the first goal.
Adrian Bollousa scored a stunning second goal when she smashed her shot into the roof of the City of Bath net.
Bollousa was then pivotal for Swindon’s third after her run and shot was followed up by Victoria Stokes, who scored from close range.
Swindon continued to dominate proceedings in the second half and the fourth goal arrived when Charlie George tapped in from another fine run from Bollousa.
Goal number five arrived when Rachel King’s pass picked out Stokes to score her second of the match.
Linda Brouwers then added a sixth goal with 10 minutes remaining, powering into the circle from a quick free hit to score.
Lewis then added her second goal, firing into the roof of the net from a penalty corner.
Coach Craig Sage complimented the Swindon team saying: “They thoroughly deserve this victory and promotion.
“Our thanks go to Charlie George, Rachel King and Gael Little who depart to university next year.”
Charlie George was crowned player of the match.
