A blood injury was called at the beginning of the second quarter causing the team to be reduced down to six, but Pinehurst stepped up their game, and managed to keep possession of the ball for most of the quarter. Pinehurst managed to win the game 45-36, with Lauren Larcombe receiving player of the match.

Lawn A started strong against Raychem A and were leading the match up until the third quarter, showing some very fast mid-court play from Tash Chilambo (who received player of the match). Lawn couldn’t keep hold of the lead and eventually lost the match 59-40.

Purton A overcame Delta Reds B, who were missing a couple of key players through injury. The first and second quarters were very close in what proved to be a very low scoring game, but a late flurry in the final minutes saw Purton extend their lead to a comfortable winning margin of 27-16. Devina Jolene Wilson was awarded player of the match for Delta.

In tough conditions, Croft D narrowly defeated Nationwide C 15-14 despite a final quarter fightback from Nationwide as Kate Moore clinched their player of the match award.

Raychem D’s defence proved just too strong for Fairford B, as they went down 39-22. It was a fast paced game with plenty of goals, with Goal Shooter Rebecca Foster scooping Fairford’s player of the match.

Croft C defeated Moredon B 38-32 to register their first win of the league campaign.

Delta C produced an impressive performance to overcome Jets B in Division Four. Some fantastic shooting from Vicky Parker and Ann Forrester meant that Delta were nine up going into the second half, and it was a lead they never relinquished as they eventually won 37-22. Dee Wilson was awarded player of the match for Delta.

Lawn D put up a strong fight and had a close match, but were blighted by injuries and couldn’t catch the league leaders Raychem E, eventually losing by 12 goals. The final score was 43-31, with Lawn’s Centre Lauren Twine being awarded player of the match.
