Former WBC world welterweight champion John H Stracey talks boxing with Your Sport Swindon’s Steve Butt.

Stracey, who won the WBC strap back in 1975, was in the west country for a sporting dinner recently and gave us his views on Swindon’s boxing scene.

He hailed the seven show deal signed between Swindon promoter Keith Mayo and trainer Paddy Fitzpatrick as well tipping the town’s super middleweight star Jamie Cox to win a world title.
