Spitfires duo still going strong after 49 years

Your Sport Swindon’s Craig Punfield caught up with Swindon Spitfires legends Chris and Bev Maull as the club approaches its 50th anniversary.

The husband and wife duo have been involved in the club from its formation in 1967.

Today Swindon Spitfires boasts 11 different teams with Chris and Bev having played a pivotal role throughout the last 49 years.

Bev, who turns 60 in December, continues to roll back the years as she still plays for the club although she plans to hang up her boots after this season.
