Swindon darts star Dennis Smith bowed out of the UK Open last week but remains upbeat for the rest of the season despite his defeat.
Smith lost 5-1 against Mark Barilli in the second round while fellow Swindon throwers Johnny Haines and Mark Cox also bowed out in the early stages of the competition.
Haines suffered a first round defeat, losing 5-4 against James Richardson while Cox was beaten 5-1 by Devon Petersen in the second round after winning his first round match.
