Five minutes later Supermarine scored their fourth try of the match when Aileen Douglas crossed the whitewash.
And Supermarine still found time to add another try just before the break with Chard scoring in the corner on 35 minutes.
Darlington fought back after the restart but after Supermarine regained possession, Gooch scored to further increase their advantage.

On 60 minutes, Gooch took full advantage of a Darlington fumble to score from a quick pick-and-go.
Great defending by Chard denied Darlington what looked to be a definite try although the Northerners did have the last say of the game, scoring late on.
