Horseshoe ABC boxer Harrison Pearson goes for glory in the All England Finals at Sheffield this weekend.
Last year Pearson made the semi-finals of the competition, eventually bowing out against Albie Samways of Golden Ring in Guildford.
And Pearson could well face Samways again with all four semi finalists drawn out of a hat to face each other on the day of the competition.
Pearson is in confident mood ahead of the weekend, saying: “I’m not looking to avoid Samways as I treat everyone with respect.
“I’m a little nervous but at the same time I’m ready and can’t wait.
“This is as good as it gets for now but I know there’s still a lot to learn and a lot to do.
“I’d like to thank all my coaches in the gym, Nigel Roberts, Clive Miles, Dave Carpenter, Mark Brown and Brian Roberts, for doing so well to get me here, they work together and push me hard. I’d also like to thank all the other boxers in the gym.”
