World number eight Eamonn O’Kane will headline a show at Swindon’s Oasis Leisure Centre in March next year.

O’Kane’s trainer Paddy Fitzpatrick confirmed the news at the press launch for the next professional show in Swindon ‘A Christmas Cracker’ which takes place in December.

The Swindon trainer also revealed that O’Kane will defend his IBF Intercontinental title on the March show.

O’Kane’s debut in Swindon was a thrilling one, which saw him floored in the opening round against Ferenc Hefner before climbing to his feet to stop his rival in the fourth round.

The fight in March will likely be his first since O’Kane lost a world title eliminator against Tureano Johnson on points at Madison Square Garden in New York.

Furthermore, Fitzpatrick also announced a seven fight deal with Swindon manager/promoter Keith Mayo which will run for the next 12 months.

Fighting on the December 20th ‘A Christmas Cracker’ show at Grange Leisure Centre will be Luke Watkins, Kelly Morgan, Garvey Kelly, Ryan Martin, Sam Smith and Danny Bharj.

Tickets are now on sale and can be purchased from any of the boxers or via the ticket box office at www.kmpromotions.co.uk/index.php/box-office
