O’Kane and Watkins weigh in for World Awaits show

YourSportSwindon caught up with Eamonn O’Kane and Luke Watkins after they weighed in for Friday’s  The World Awaits show at the Oasis Leisure Centre.

O’Kane weighed in at 11st 5lbs for his middleweight clash with Hungarian Ferenc Hafner who hit the scales at 11st 4lbs.

Cruiserweight Watkins came in at 14st 3lbs while his Hungarian opponent Jeno Markhot weighed in at 13st 8lbs

We also spoke to trainer Paddy Fitzpatrick, who trains both boxers and also has welterweight Garvey Kelly in action against Exeter’s Faheem Khan.

Tickets are still available for the show and can be bought on the door. First bell will be around 7.30-8pm.
