Swindon Shock Wheelchair have been crowned National Champions – clinching the Division Two title in dramatic fashion.
Facing Warwickshire Bears in the final at Worcester Arena, Swindon led 20-11 after the first quarter.
The Bears though fought back in the second session, clawing their way to within two points, with Shock leading 34-32 at half-time.
Shock raised their game in the third quarter, extending their lead to 47-42 to set up a tense final quarter.
And with just four minutes remaining on the clock, the Bears levelled the match with the scores locked at 53 points apiece.
Both sides then traded baskets before a late surge from Shock saw them edge the match by just three points, winning 60-57.
Shock secured their place in the National League Division Two (South) Final after beating North Wales Knights in their semi-final match.
The Swindon side led 16-8 after the first quarter against Knights although they were pegged back to just five points at the break (29-24).
Knights then took the lead with just 10 minutes remaining before Shock levelled at 64 points apiece to force overtime.
Into overtime, Swindon stepped up a gear and booked their final place thanks to a 77-64 win.
