Swindon boxer Kelly Morgan will take the fight to Szilvia Szabados when she faces the former world title challenger later this month.
The clash against the WIBA world number two middleweight was confirmed on Friday morning after weeks of negotiations with Szabados’ camp.
Morgan will now go toe-to-toe with the Hungarian on Sunday, December 20th at Grange Leisure Centre and described it as an early Christmas present.
The 35-year-old former 2002 Commonwealth Games javelin bronze medalist believes the fight against Szabados will be a thriller just like her last fight against Melinda Lazar back in October.
Looking ahead to the fight, Morgan predicted it could be “a banger” and vowed to leave everything in the ring against Szabados, who has fought for a world title three times.
