Swindon super middleweight Jamie Cox expects to be in “a massive fight” the next time he enters the ring.
The undefeated 29-year-old is the current WBO European champion but Cox hinted to Your Sport Swindon that he could land a world title shot in his next fight.
A shot at the WBA Super world title could be the most likely chance for Cox with Fedor Chudinov and Felix Sturm contesting that belt this weekend.
In the meantime former Walcot amateur star Cox is training hard with his team in Birmingham, patiently waiting for a dream shot at a world title.
Cox, who has won all 20 of his professional fights to date, also told Your Sport Swindon that he thinks he would beat anyone in the super middleweight division.
He would also relish a shot at IBF champion and close friend James DeGale, although he knows he must first manoeuvre himself into a mandatory position for that fight to happen.
