Swindon boxer Ryan Martin will face undefeated Lithuanian Linus Meistavicius in Gloucester on Saturday night.
Martin, who boasts a perfect four-fight record, was originally due to face William Warburton but has since watched opponent after opponent fall by the wayside for this fight.
And Meistavicius could prove a tricky opponent for Martin, who has had days rather than weeks to prepare for what the Lithuanian will bring to the ring.
However, the former Walcot ABC star will still be confident of notching a fifth straight professional win when he steps into the ring at the GL1 Leisure Centre on the undercard to British Challenge Lightweight title fight between Chris Adaway and Andy Harris.
The pair weighed in for Saturday’s title fight on Friday with Adaway hitting the scales at 133lb 6oz while Harris came in at 132lb 6oz.
Also weighing in the day before the fight was Adam Harper and Baltazaras Bajorunas.
Harper hit the scales at 159lb while Bajorunas came in at 157lb 4oz.
Another Swindon boxer who features on the bill in Gloucester is Danny Bharj.
The 27-year-old faces a tricky opponent in Ibrar Riyaz, who has only ever been knocked out three times in his 93 career fights.
Meanwhile the Keith Mayo-managed Akeem “Riiddy” Ennis Brown is also in action.
The Gloucester light welterweight takes on Liam Richards, who has won 12 and lost 12 of his 24 career fights.
Tickets are still available for this show and can be purchased on the door at the Gl1 Leisure Centre.
