Kyle says Town’s U14’s will do themselves proud at the Gothia Cup

Swindon Town Football in the Community Trust are taking two boys teams to the Gothia Cup for the first time in their history and Under 14 star Kyle Bird is in confident mood ahead of the trip.

Kyle and his teammates will compete in the tournament for the first time and although he admitted they are all nervous, he expects the team to do themselves proud in Sweden.

Swindon Town Football in the Community Trust are taking a club record number of five sides out to Sweden this year – including two boys teams.

It will be the first time the Trust has taken boys to compete at the event.

The event itself begins on Monday and Your Sport Swindon are travelling out with the squads to provide the very best coverage of their progress for everyone back home in England.
