Swindon boxer Jamie Cox has vowed to knock out fellow British super middleweight star Frank Buglioni if the pair ever meet in the ring.

In an exclusive interview with Your Sport Swindon, world title hopeful Cox claims he has too much power for Buglioni who fights for the WBA strap against Fedor Chudinov later this month.

Cox also fights on the Chudinov-Bulgioni bill at Wembley Arena on September 26th when he defends his WBO European title against Marianio Hilario.

The Swindon boxer is confident of knocking out Spanish number one Hilario and expects to face the winner of Chudinov and Buglioni later this year.

Victory against Hilario would be Cox’s 20th career win and preserve his perfect professional record.

An early knockout could also be on the cards with the Swindon southpaw having knocked out his last two opponents inside the first round.

Cox also told Your Sport Swindon that he was recently offered a world title shot which he immediately accepted only for the opportunity to fall through because his potential opponent decided not to take the fight.
