Shrivenham & Watchfield’s man of the match Jake Thacker-Pugsley hailed his side’s character as they came back from a goal down to win the North Wilts Youth Football League Under 18 Cup.
Despite going a goal down early in the second half, Shrivenham bounced back to win the match 2-1 and complete a league a cup double success.

After a very tight first half, it was Royal Wootton Bassett who got the breakthrough, Graham Jack pouncing on a mistake by Shrivenham goalkeeper Jack Gibson to score.
Shrivenham though hit back immediately when Nick Moore tapped home from close range.
Josh Tyler then provided the finish from a flick on to put Shrivenham 2-1 up.
Joel Miguel was then sent off for Shrivenham in the final few minutes but the Blues held on for victory and completed a league and cup double in the process.
