Swindon Supermarine boss Dave Webb was delighted with his side’s 2-0 win against Wimborne on Saturday.
Webb’s men grabbed a second successive win in Division One South & West thanks to a goal in each half from Sam Morris and Connor Waldon.
The result keeps Supermarine in sixth place in the league just four points off a play-off spot.
Supermarine dominated proceedings in the first half and their efforts were rewarded on 17 minutes when Morris slotted home at the second attempt after good build-up play from Ryan Stanners and Joe Shepherd.
Wimborne then hit the post after the break before Ashley Edenborough sliced wide with just the keeper to beat.
Shepherd then hit the post and Marcus Schuster fired wide as Supermarine threatened to secure the points.
And the crucial second goal eventually came on 86 minutes when substitute Waldon scrambled the ball home at the far post.
