Andres Gomez-Williams was crowned Wrag Barn Golf Club’s Men’s Champion at the weekend as he claimed the title by two shots.
Gomez-Williams and Jack Bright were the joint leaders overnight after Saturday’s opening round with Nigel Baker (74), Tony Keyes (76) and Adam Jelley (76) also in contention.
Bright though fell away in Sunday’s second round as he carded an eight-over par score of 80. Gomez-Williams maintained his charge while Keyes kept the pressure on with a superb level par round of 72.
Gomez-Williams though kept his composure to sign for a three-over par 75 as he took the coveted Wrag Barn title.
