Supermarine’s fine recent run which included fine wins against leaders North Leigh and away at Marlow, came to an end at home to Slimbridge.
Despite the chance to close the gap on Division One South West leaders North Leigh, Supermarine were behind after just 1o minutes.
A defensive mix-up between Marcus Schuster and Oli Bailey cost Supermarine dear as Paul Fahy nipped in to fire a shot into the top corner of Matt Bulman’s net.
Supermarine pulled level though within a matter of seconds when Ash Taylor’s pass picked out Luke Hopper who in turn set up Ash Edenborough to score from close range.
Taylor then head wide from close range before Josh Morse missed another good chance to give Supermarine the lead.
