Supermarine Ladies started this cup match brightly and were camped out in the Bath half for most of the first half.

And it was Supermarine who looked to have broken the deadlock when Sam Gooch crossed the whitewash only for her effort to be disallowed.

With the half finishing 0-0, Bath grew in strength in the second half and scored a few tries as they took control of the match.

Supermarine eventually got on the scoresheet when a well-placed cross-field kick from captain Claire Legg saw centre Nat Williams dive over the line in the corner.

Unfortunately that try was Supermarine’s only success of the game as Bath clinched victory 21-5.
