
Swindon Pumas found league leaders Guildford Firestorm too hot to handle, going down 8-1 at the Link Centre at the weekend, writes Daryl Lipsey.
Sam Talbot scored Swindon’s only goal as Guildford, led by the league’s top goalscorer Mason Biddulph, produced a strong offensive display.
Guildford have only conceded seven goals this season – four of those coming against Swindon.
Pumas remain in third spot in the league as they bid to secure the runners-up spot and a place at the National Finals in May.
