Swindon boxing trainer Rich Farnan talks to Your Sport Swindon about training Ryan Martin and Danny Bharj for their next fights.

The pair will be fighting at Gloucester’s GL1 Leisure Centre on September 12th on the undercard to Chris Adaway and Andy Harris’s British Challenge lightweight title fight.
Usually trained by former Russian champion Islan Eltuyev, both Martin and Bharj will have Farnan in their corner for this next fight with their regular trainer currently back in his homeland.
Farnan is excited about the prospect of training both boxers and has tipped them both for big things as he described them as “Golden Nuggets”.
It has been a frustrating year so far for both Martin and Bharj with their last fights having taken place back in February.
Both celebrated victories but neither have been able to build on their successes with Martin suffering injury and Bharj’s scheduled fight in June being cancelled.
Farnan though has been impressed with both in training and expects the duo to “make a statement” in Gloucester next month.
Bharj, who has just turned 27, faces tough journeyman Matt Seawright while 21-year-old Martin is scheduled to face William Warburton.
