Bradley Gray was the two-goal hero for Supermarine as they came from behind to beat Winchester City in the Southern League Division One South & West.
The success was also sweet revenge for Supermarine having lost 4-0 in the FA Cup against Winchester earlier in the season.
It was Winchester though who got the opening goal when Dan Cann’s glancing header from a corner gave the visitors the lead on 11 minutes.
Just eight minutes later Supermarine pulled level when Gray headed home from Ollie Bailey’s fine cross.
Supermarine clinched three vital points on the hour mark when Ryan Stanners slipped the ball to Gray who coolly slotted home.
The win keeps Supermarine firmly in the promotion play-off places sitting in third place in the table, just two points behind leaders North Leigh.
Dave Webb’s side return to action next Saturday when they visit struggling Bridgwater Town.
